Things just changed.

I find it frustrating when I hear someone—a friend or a family member, for example—touting their beliefs and talking about how ‘they mean so much’ that they’ll never abandon them.

Then things just change.

They stop feeling that way because they’re such a different person now, and they have new priorities, and they just wanted something exciting to happen.  They grew up and learned the error of their naive, innocent, blindly-believing ways.  They are now among the special group of enlightened adults.

Screw enlightenment.  I’m going to watch Captain Planet.
